Federal Tyres wins the 2005 Drift Australia Tyre Manufactures Championship. After a very competitve year of drifting Federal has out done the competition and made it to top podium position. Drifting is the fastest growing form of motorsport in the country at the moment. Drifting is fine balance of traction and power. It is a very exciting sport to watch, extremely high paced and absolute hell on tyres. Competitors are consistantly searching for tyres that will last the distance and as we saw in 2005 Federal had no problem standing up to the challange. This continues Federals success with Motorsport worldwide. Federal are the only tyre manufactured outside Japan that have been aproved for the official D1 series.
