Mark Waugh, treat shows off his 1999 Subaru WRX and tells us about his experience with Federal 595RS-R tyres:
“My track car is still street legal to get it to and from events and also for weekend cruises so I needed a tyre that would perform on both the road and the track. I found the Federal 595RS-R was one of the only tyres that would cover this and not empty the wallet. Great value for money.
I drive my WRX at the local tracks at Eastern Creek and Wakefield competing in Super Sprints. I did the festival of sporting cars which was a 4 day event and the tyres held up perfectly, plenty of life left in them. I hope to be competing in more serious events in the future (tarmac rallies, etc).
They’re just a great tyre that can be used in all conditions, great for everyday driving and then when you take your car to the track there is plenty of grip for those corners. Also great value for money.
